Better Day

Thanks for all your well wishes. Today was a better day. Daddy brought us McD for lunch. The girls did some art, and I talked to a few friends on the phone.

The girls are clean and in bed - together - thus not asleep. Ughh.

We are watching "moment of truth." I'm not sure how I feel about it. Anyone else watch it?

I forgot "moment of truth" was on. I wanted to watch it, though, because it looked interesting. What did you think?

Yum, McDonalds! Sounds like you had a better day. Hope they fell asleep. I have never watched Moment of Truth-now we are watching The Apprentice though!

I've opnly seen a few minutes of it, but I think that Moment of Truth is exactly what's wrong with our society, in a nutshell. We are all voyeuristic and secretly hoping that everyone else's lives implode, while ours remain the same. Moment of truth gives America the chance to collectively gasp at seeing someone else's world destroyed because of greed. How is is that Jerry Springer seems so crass, while this show, which is essentially a dressed-up version of Springer, is apparently good entertainment? There's a soapbox for you.

I have not seen it, but think I agree totally with Cori.

I missed your previous blog, so I am glad you are feeling a little better. Also, remember that you are still in your first trimester and pregnant. The same wise Cori mentioned above just reminded me that it does get better. You are certainly not a bad mom. It can be hard...especially in the dead of winter, when you aren't 100% yourself and you are doing something totally new. This season has been hard for me...we are just surviving until I feel better. Hopefully that is somewhat encouraging.
