Decorating Cookies with friends

Here are some pictures from Emily's cookie decorating party we got to attend!! Next to her is the little girl from school she talks most about! The mom had it perfectly organized - from knives in the icing, to boxes lined in foil to bring the masterpieces home! The girls LOVED it!
Emily especially liked shaking sprinkles on . . . and on . . . I kept telling her she needed to ice them first so the sprinkles would stick. "You can do it any way you want." She kept telling her control freak mom! :)
Here is the final product! Think we could eat one without getting sick? Sugar rush, anyone? :)
Besides the cookie party, my dad stopped in yesterday for a suprise visit. He is having some health issues and had to visit a doctor up our way. He treated us to lunch at Applebee's. . . then went to our mall with us. We got Emily's picture taken with "ho ho." Madeline clung to Papaw terrified of "Ho ho." It is the neatest Santa place I have ever seen. It is at our new mall. They have HUGE toys the kids can play with, elves, etc. AND you fill out a paper for Santa so he can have a legit conversation with the kids. Brian filled out the paper - and since I hadn't seen what he wrote - Santa was freaking me out with his information!!!! "What about Littlest Pet Shop? Would you like some of those? How is your cat, Milo doing?" We asked Santa if we could leave him muffins, as Emily has been saying she thinks he would like muffins. He said that would be fine! :) And all this for only 15.99 for a 5x7. Ughhh.

Yum! I especially like the cookie with a reindeer head! It must have been really cool for them to have Santa actually know what they wanted for Christmas! Wish our mall did that :-)
