We had a great 4th of July! We had a huge pitch in at our neighbor's home. It was very fun to hang out and chat with everyone - and teh food was spectacular - no joke . . . . Emily got to see her favorite dog, Maxx, who has been living in Greenwood now - so that was a sweet reunion - Jill and George came to be with us, too! After the cookout, we had a brief break at home, then we went to get in our spots for the fireworks. That was fun, too. Our friends Wes and Heather joined us, as did our neighbor group from the pitch in. It was hard to get the girls to go to sleep when we got home as they were scared of the fireworks still popping outside - ughhh - but they finally conked out of sheer exhaustion!
