This past week my mom and Brian took the girls to the fair without me - Bless them!!! The main highlight for us is always the animals! Look how excited Maddie is in this first picture. But, always the cautious one, Brian said she pet everything with her pointer finger, only - at least she would touch them! :)

They are both so sweet. I love the one-finger animal petting! She is getting braver every day!!
Samuel is just like Maddie. When we went to the zoo, he refused to go into the petting farm. He wanted to stand in the door (and block everyone's way) and watch from a distance. I'm glad to know he has a kindred spirit out there.
