Long day! I am glad Brian is off for the next 2 days!!!!! I need a break! I get to have dinner out with 2 friends tomorrow night - YEE HAW!
I think I forgot to tell you - my hormone levels are fine as of last Wed. That is a relief.
Blaza and Sarah M. stopped in for a little while this morning. It was very good to see my dear friends.
Some friends came over for dinner tonight - even better - they BROUGHT dinner! :) AND they fixed our ailing computer! I was going crazy today with no internet!!!
No other scoop from here!

"Children's Newsaum"
Yesterday we went to the Children's "Newsaum" as Emily calls it. We met some of my friends from my wing at Taylor. It was so fun to meet their families. The girls got to do a little of everything. It was HARD to keep track of them both. . . but I survived! Here are some shots from our time. Playing in the sand. . .
Emily the artist!
Both girls playing in the water. I have a picture of me doing this in a similar smock when I was little!

Show and Tell
Emily had her first show and tell today (She had one a few weeks ago but had to bring a picture of our family - this was the first time it was HER choice!) She chose to bring her blankie and 2 buddies - "daddy puppy" and "brown brown" for those of you who know them by name! This is her bucket. Each child has one instead of a backpack. It has a purple triangle on it, because that is Emily's group. We got a note today telling us that Nov. 1 we have her parent / teacher conference. That should be interesting!!!
And here is little cuddle bug laying on the couch. She is holding her kitty she got for her birthday - and covered up by the blanket we bought for the baby. She is such a sweetie!
We had a good day today. It was calm. I made chili for a family who lost a loved one this week. A friend stopped by tonight - otherwise just a quiet day at home. I'm still sick.

Singin in the Rain
Tonight we went out and played in the rain. The girls LOVED IT! I highly recommend trying it with your kids!
Feedin the . . .
Our Madeline
I typically use the word "delight" when I describe this little girl. She is cautious, careful, and independent. She loves her Mama. She loves to read books. She has brought such joy to our family!

I'm dyin' here
I feel like CR*P. My chest aches. . . my upper back aches. My throat hurts. I'm coughing stuff up. UGHHH!!! Tonight I had one episode where I had trouble catching my breath! I talked to my mother-in-law - and she said this sounds just like what she and several other family members had after the cruise. That made me feel a little better. (Maybe I'm not dying of pneumonia!) She recommended an over the counter drug. . . so, I'm drugged up and ready for bed, hoping that sleep brings some relief!
I have a crazy / heavy story from today - but I will have to save it for tomorrow!
